Having seen the fansubs of this great series one after the other as soon as they were done, I was amazed and pleased with the excellent story and beautiful artwork done in the anime. I really enjoy what you are doing to them old Streamline titles like VHD 85, Wicked City and Professional - Golgo 13. I urge you to do the same to the FIST OF THE NORTH STAR movie. Get subtitles on that one, put it out on DVD!!! Do not allow them bastards at MANGA ENTERTAINMENT to get it and then subsequently destroy it via a new, cheap oh-so-modern techno-sounddreck (as they did with the TV-series). The original Vampire Hunter D is one of the best movies ever. As a mter of fact it was the first anime I purchased. The new one looks even better than the original so I can't wait. The one thing you need to do though is get the license for Ghost in the Shell. Let me just say that I love what you guys are doing with Vampire Hunter D. I've already got my DVD pre-ordered, and I can't wait for the new one to come to theaters! There's only one other thing that you need to pick up on: AKIRA. Akira is probably my favorite anime of all time, and I can't believe there hasn't been a DVD made yet. Urban Vision REALLY needs to consider taking up the AKIRA license and getting it on DVD, because I would love to see the same kind of treatment given to Akira as you have VHD. Vampire Hunter D is remarkable for its animation and story. The music is very cool--I love the variation of "Ode To Joy", in particular with the wind effects and horsey sounds. I just wana say I'm so glad Urban Vision has picked up Vampire Hunter D. This is an awesome tale, and your art work and trialer showed awesome new art. You guys have caught the true power and looks of D. Please make him the same samber, mellow, well spoken D. Also, can you get the same guy to do the voice? It would be cool, but I know it is sometimes Hard. The voice was a shock to my dad and I, we espected a voice a deep voice, but it was better this way. I've seen the pre-relase of whole new VHD movie (approximate 100min. English ver.) with the author of original novel! How great it is! The the author got angry with last movie(1985) and it took long time(15years!) to make new one. However, this time he applaused it with gratification! I have watched and own the original VHD, ever since I absolutely love VHD. I also recently saw the sneek preview video clip of the new VHD, and thought it was out of this world....my GOSH the animation....I'll probably faint after waching it hehehheh. I know that the people behind the making of the new VHD was the same people that make my all time favorite anime title (Ninja Scroll).
